West Coast Life TeleLife® Processing
With West Coast Life's TeleLife program, you only have to spend a few minutes completing the short TeleLife preliminary application (on line or on paper). You don't need to leave your office, you don't need to get client signatures, you don't need to meet face-to-face with the client - a few minutes and you're done! The TeleLife unit takes care of everything else. They call your client within 48 hours and during the approximately 20-minute long application interview they also make arrangements for the paramed exam.

The fastest way for you and your client to submit the application, if you are already licensed with West Coast Life through CPS, is to click below to go to the EZ App Applet, the on-line application for TeleLife. This online submission process is available in all states except NY. You must already be contracted with West Coast Life to use EZ App - your agent number is required to login. - Pease use the pre-qualification checklist to help quote your client (preliminary rate class): Please contact CPS Underwriting or your CPS Case Manager if there are questions of insurability or rate class
- Supply your client with brochure regarding what to expect during the process and a checklist
Important items to note:
- Temporary insurance is available with a temporary Life Insurance receipt up to $1,000,000: Paper application (this does require client signature) or with the EZ-App submission. A check, credit card or EFT authorization for this initial payment can be collected with the application or can be collected as part of the process
- If this is a replacement, a replacement form must be completed and signed by the agent only, applicant's signatures on all forms are collected during the process
- If you submit the application on line through EZ app both you and CPS will receive notification of receipt and CPS will provide you with status of your case
Please note - once the application and the exam are received by West Coast Life, CPS and the agent will be responsible for any additional requirements and clarification needed from the client. Your CPS Case Manager will keep you in the loop and advise you of what is needed (if anything) to complete the case.
